Description

44 meter private motor yacht is looking for a Chief Engineer for an 8-weeks-on/8-weeks-off rotational position.

Position details:

• Salary: USD 8,000 fixed
• Minimum qualification: Y3
• Start date: Between 15 and 20 September
• Planned yard period: October
• Cruising itinerary: USA during the summer and the Caribbean during the winter
• Visa requirement: Valid B1/B2 visa

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer, ideally with previous experience aboard a similar-sized yacht.

It is important that the candidate is already working towards a higher qualification, as the owner may move to a larger yacht in the future.

The vessel maintains a healthy and active working environment. Most crew members exercise regularly and follow a health-conscious lifestyle. We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy for alcohol and smoking on board, including electronic cigarettes and vaping. We are therefore looking for someone who shares this lifestyle and will fit well with the existing team.
