About the vessel

It is a 50m private motor yacht based in the South of France.

The position

We are urgently looking for a Chief Engineer to join the vessel. The position is available on either a freelance or permanent basis, depending on the candidate’s availability and profile.
Start date: as soon as possible.

Desired profile

  • Valid Chief Engineer certification suitable for a 48m motor yacht.
  • Previous experience aboard similar-sized yachts.
  • Strong technical, maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Professional, reliable and proactive.
  • Good team player with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
  • Valid medical certificate and up-to-date documents.
  • Verifiable references required.

Salary: €9,000/month, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
