We have a 45m private/charter MY seeking a Sole Chef to join them ideally as soon as possible. This is a recently purchased yacht preparing to launch a new program in the United States. The vessel will operate in the local area for the next year with the aim of becoming a busy charter program. This is a great opportunity for a talented and adaptable Sole Chef to join a new project and make the galley their own.

The role:

  • Managing all galley operations as Sole Chef onboard, cooking for 8 crew as well as guests.
  • Delivering high-quality, varied cuisine tailored to guest preferences.
  • Maintain consistency with crew food.
  • Operating within a dual-season private/charter program.
  • Performing under pressure during busy charter periods.
  • B1/B2 visa required.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a yacht Sole Chef with a strong charter background.
  • Confident working independently; creative, adaptable and highly organised.
  • Ability to cater to diverse dietary requirements with ease.
  • Ideally able to join as soon as possible; some flexibility may be available.
  • Female only due to cabin arrangements.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
