About This role

Shipyard Carpenter – Private 100m M/Y

• Start date: Early – Mid September to 8th of February
• Location: Shipyard in Europe
• Package: Salary in Euros

Experience and attributes required:

– Preferably (but not necessary) at least one season experience as deckhand/carpenter on board 60m+ yachts,
– Refit experience is a positive.
– Takes pride in quality work and adapts easily with a positive, can-do mindset.
– Meticulous, strong attention to detail, clean and tidy, respectful of high-end materials.
– Comfortable working independently or leading small teams when required.
– Experience with various touch up jobs is a positive such as Konig touch up course etc

Qualifications required:

• Carpentry & joinery certification or completed apprenticeship
• STCW
• Seafarer Medical Certificate
• Schengen visa if needed

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
