A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Yacht Chef to join a beautifully maintained 44m privately registered motor yacht based in Florida.

The yacht cruises primarily throughout Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, offering a varied itinerary and an enjoyable working environment. The owners have a genuine appreciation for exceptional food and enjoy healthy, fresh meals along with a wide variety of international cuisines. This role would suit a creative chef who is passionate about producing high-quality cuisine while adapting menus to different tastes and destinations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef on a similar-sized yacht or in a high-end hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of healthy, fresh and internationally inspired cuisine
  • Excellent provisioning, budgeting and galley management skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a professional crew
  • Valid B1/B2 Visa or USA Citizenship is essential
  • Due to cabin sharing arrangements, only female candidates can be considered at this time.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Experience length:  min 2 years

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
