We are seeking a Deckhand/Carpenter to join an 80m private motor yacht with a fantastic crew culture and a friendly, family-oriented onboard atmosphere. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong maintenance skills to join an active dual-season program focused on fishing, spearfishing, and family cruising.

The role:

  • Full deckhand position supporting all exterior operations, maintenance, and guest activities.
  • Carry out deck maintenance and repairs, with a particular focus on shipwright-style work.
  • Assist with tender operations, watersports, and day-to-day deck duties.
  • Family-focused private program with an active cruising schedule and plenty of guest interaction.
  • Upcoming itinerary includes California, Mexico, the Caribbean for winter, and the Mediterranean next summer.
  • Start date: 1st August.

What we're looking for:

  • 1–2 years' experience as a Deckhand.
  • Strong deck maintenance and repair knowledge, with shipwright experience highly desirable.
  • Fun, outgoing personality with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable working around children and enjoys watersports.
  • B1/B2 visa ideally in hand.
  • DJ skills advantageous but not essential.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
