Magnitude Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly detail-focused Laundress to join the interior team onboard a prestigious 75m+ private motor yacht. This is an initial temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, offering an excellent opportunity to join a well-established programme.

This role is critical to maintaining the highest standards of presentation for the Owner, family, guests, and crew, and is suited to a candidate with excellent technical laundry knowledge and a meticulous approach.

The successful candidate will be organised, efficient, and confident managing a high-volume laundry operation within a luxury yacht environment.

Package

  • Temporary position with the potential to become permanent 
  • EUR salary (DOE)
  • 4:4 rotation (If role becomes permanent)

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Laundress onboard large yachts or within an ultra-luxury hospitality environment
  • Excellent knowledge of fabric care, garment handling, and stain removal techniques
  • Strong understanding of commercial laundry equipment, detergents, and specialist laundry products
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Valid STCW certification and ENG1 (or equivalent)
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Professional presentation with a discreet, service-orientated approach

Laundry Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily laundry operation for the Owner, family, guests, and crew
  • Sort, wash, dry, iron, press, and steam garments to the highest luxury standard
  • Handle delicate, designer, and specialist fabrics with the appropriate level of care
  • Identify and treat stains using correct techniques and products
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene within the laundry
  • Ensure all laundry machinery and equipment are operated and maintained correctly
  • Wardrobe & Linen Support
  • Assist with wardrobe management and garment storage systems
  • Maintain linen and towel inventories
  • Ensure all items are correctly labelled, stored, and rotated
  • Report any shortages, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.

Visa Requirements:

Schengen visa is required for this role.
