Senior Sous Chef – Private 100m+ Passenger Vessel

This is a passenger vessel that runs privately. The vessel applies high-profile yachting standards and is part of a large operation.

Start date: 22nd September 2026

Location: Europe / Northern Red Sea

Package: Salary in Euros – leave 176 paid days (2/2)

Experience and attributes required:

  • Professional cooking experience: minimum 5 years of experience in high-end restaurants, hotels, or cruise ships.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare a variety of cuisines (e.g., Mediterranean, Asian, Arabic, Fusion).
  • Strong culinary skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
  • Ability to plan, prepare, and execute multi-course meals for guests and crew.
  • Confident with a la carte service.
  • Meticulous about cleanliness and maintaining high hygiene standards.

Qualifications required:

  • Level 2/3 food hygiene certificate
  • Crowd Management
  • Crisis Management & Human Behaviour
  • Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
  • STCW (fully updated)
  • Seafarer’s Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months
  • Seaman’s Discharge Book

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
