We have a 45m+ private/charter MY seeking a Chief Engineer to join them ASAP. The vessel operates between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean with both private and charter use. This is an opportunity for a technically strong and adaptable Chief Engineer to join a new project and make the engine room their own.

The role:

  • This role requires a technically strong and proactive individual capable of managing all onboard systems, maintenance and supporting smooth operations.
  • You will play a key role in ensuring the yacht runs efficiently and reliably throughout both private and charter use.
  • B1/B2 visa in hand ideally.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Engineer on a similar sized yacht.
  • Relevant engineering certification minimum Y3.
  • Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
  • Confident mentoring a Deck/Engineer.
  • Ideally you will be able to join ASAP; there may be slight flexibility for the right candidate.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
