About This role

Chief Engineer – Private/Charter – 40m+ Motor Yacht

Hill Robinson is presenting an opportunity for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a highly desirable 40m+ motor yacht operating a single season (could go dual season) itinerary with a busy private and charter programme.

Start date: Immediate
Start: South of France
Rotation: 45 days
Salary: Paid in EUR

Experience and attributes required:

  • 2+ years of yachting experience
  • Experience on similar size vessels as a Chief Engineer
  • Good communicator
  • Positive personality

Qualifications required:

  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate (valid for a minimum of 6 months)
  • STCW (fully updated)
  • Chief Engineer 3000 kW / Y3 minimum

Only candidates meeting the listed criteria will be considered.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
