Sous chef position - 66m - Motor yacht

Description

We are seeking a female, 2nd rotational Sous Chef for a 65+m private M/Y.

Ideal candidate will have the below qualities and qualifications~

At least 2 years in yachting, and more than 1 year on the same program for longevity.

A great repertoire of crew cooking, healthy, balanced and covers all bases. Able to work alone and in a team- support will be required for the weekly bbqs and pizza nights on trip.

Sourdough skills and basic desserts and pastry skills.

Bubbly and friendly disposition- we have a lot of guest interaction, and she needs to be able to hold herself and a conversation with guests, this also includes banter with them. It's a casual but professional environment.

Crew are young and fun, sporty, and like to have a wine or beer together at the end of the day. Run club in the mornings for those who want it and backgammon training in the evenings. Owner is amazing- work hard and play hard! Trips are often filled with excursions such as hiking, scuba and lunches ashore exploring with the guests. It really is unique and demands a sous chef to match.

Amazing program in a newly developed fleet. Vessel just got polar coded, so standby for confirmation of something epic in the works!

PADI certification. If no PADI, please ensure they are keen on obtaining it before they start, or have extensive water sports experience.

On Offer:

2/2 rotation ( first rotation swing will be shorter, so they can come in line with splitting time between both head chefs)

$6000 p/m

Discretionary annual bonus

Start date: Aug 1 in the Med.
