About This role
2nd Chef 55m busy private M/Y
Start Date: 16th of June 2026
Location: Northern Red Sea
Package: Salary in euros, 38 days’ included
Experience and attributes required :
- Minimum 1 years yachting experience with prior restaurant/ chalet experience favoured
- Excellent attention to detail, hygiene and food safety
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work without supervision. As head chef works 12 hour opposing shifts.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and remain calm at all times
- Team player as working in team with Head chef
- Experience and knowledge of diverse international cuisines
Qualifications required:
- Ship's cook certificate (preferred)
- STCW fully updated
- Security awareness and PDSD
- Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (with 6 months’ validity)
- Food and Hygiene Level 2 minimum
- Seaman’s Discharge Book

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
