We are looking for a freelance Chef to join a 28m sailing yacht in Sardinia during charters. You will need to have a sailing background, be extremely organised, and have an international driving licence. Charter experience on a similar size sailing boat. Non-smoker. Team player. STCW. ENG1. Good knowledge of the English language is required. Salary: paid in Euros, base salary - DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily menu planning for guests according to their preferences and food intolerances.
  • Food provisioning and inventory checks for charter.
  • Food preparation: breakfast, lunch, dinner for guests and crew.
  • Galley cleaning after cooking.
  • Organise equipment and provisions in the galley and other storage areas.
  • Ensure daily provisioning costs are within the budget set by the captain and provide daily invoices and receipts to the captain.
