Position suitable for a team/couple.

We have a 45m private/charter motor yacht seeking a Chief Engineer to join ASAP. This recently purchased yacht is preparing to launch a new program in the United States. The vessel will operate locally for the next year before heading to the Mediterranean, aiming to become a busy charter program.

The role:

  • This role requires a technically strong and proactive individual capable of managing all onboard systems, maintenance and supporting pre-season works.
  • You will play a key role in ensuring the yacht runs efficiently and reliably throughout both private and charter use.
  • B1/B2 visa required.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Engineer on a similar sized yacht.
  • Relevant engineering certification minimum Chief Engineer 750–2999 kW - STCW A-III/3 or (Y3).
  • Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
  • Confident mentoring a Deck/Engineer.
  • Ideally available to join ASAP; there may be slight flexibility for the right candidate.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
