Chief Engineer (Rotation)

ROTATION CHIEF ENGINEER — 85M NEW BUILD SUPERYACHT

Contract Type: Rotational – 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off
Tentative Start Date: 1 June 2026 (to be confirmed)
Urgent — position must be filled in time for handover with outgoing engineer

POSITION DETAILS

• Vessel: 85m new build superyacht (Europe)
• Role: Rotation Chief Engineer
• Salary: €9,000 per month
• Accommodation & Food Allowance: €2,500 per month (applicable from start date until vessel delivery, currently estimated 9 October 2026)
• Annual Leave: 182.5 days per year
• Flights: cover per rotation
• Estimated Delivery: Mid-October 2026

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an opportunity to join a high-calibre new build programme at a pivotal stage — taking the vessel through final commissioning, sea trials, delivery, and into her first operational period. This vessel forms part of a large fleet and comes with excellent career progression opportunities.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Chief Engineer certificates and qualifications suitable for large yachts
• At least one new build yacht experience above 65m (commissioning period acceptable)
• Proven skills across both new build processes and post-delivery operational requirements
• Good command of basic computer skills (SharePoint, Excel, and similar software)
• Previous experience with Deep Blue is a strong advantage
• Excellent English language skills
