About This role
Private/Sole Chef – Private 50m+ MY
Hill Robinson is presenting an opportunity for a permanent Private/Sole Chef to join a highly desirable 50m+ superyacht. The vessel is currently located in Europe and operates on a single cruising season (Mediterranean) and private residence in Europe itinerary, running a busy private programme.
Start date: February/March
Location: Europe
Package: Salary in Euros
90 days leave taken outside of Summer Season/Christmas Holidays
Experience and attributes required:
– Professionally trained, with experience on either yachts or private households
– Passionate about seasonal and international cuisines
– Confident in planning menus, provisioning and working independently
– Confident across multiple culinary traditions, with a strong emphasis on fresh produce
Qualifications required:
– Culinary training would be beneficial
– Valid STCW and medical certificates
– Ships Cook Certificate would be a bonus

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
