Cook/Steward-ess – Private 40m S/Y

This is a lovely opportunity for a hands-on Cook/Steward-ess to join a 40m private sailing yacht based in the Mediterranean. The yacht is currently for sale, so the role suits someone flexible, discreet, and confident preparing beautiful finger food and light catering for brokers and visitors during viewings, while also maintaining high interior standards.

Ideal position for someone based locally, Vilanova, Spain.

Start date: ASAP

Itinerary: Mediterranean

Package: Salary paid in Euros, 42 days’ leave

Experience/Skills required:

• Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Stewardess on 35m+ Motor or Sailing Yacht
• Confident preparing fresh, healthy crew meals and attractive finger food for brokers and guests
• Strong interior standards and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team player
• Happy to assist with light deck duties when required
• Professional presentation, discreet and adaptable

Qualifications required:

• STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Food & Hygiene Level 2 (valid)
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)

Non-smoker and no visible tattoos.
