About This role

Second Chef – Private 100 m+ MY

• Start: 2nd June 2026
• Location: Red Sea, Europe
• Package: Salary in Euro – 114 days of leave

Experience and attributes required:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience (post qualification) in high-end restaurants, preferably Michelin-recognised restaurants.
• 1-2 years’ yacht experience over 50m, preferable but not necessary if training and restaurant background is strong enough.
• Speciality cuisine-based qualifications is a plus (bakery, bread).
• Must have a fluent command of English.
• Good base knowledge of various international cuisines, strong work ethic and ability to adapt and work as part of a large galley team.
• Be personable, well-presented, and self-motivated.

Qualifications required:

• Chef’s Diploma/qualification NVQ3 or equivalent.
• Food and Hygiene Level 2
• Crowd Management
• PDSD
STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
