We are searching for a Chief Engineer to join a 170 ft Sail Yacht.

Privately owned

Y4/EOOW - SV 3000gt

Good solid hands on engineer

Keen sailor or sailing background

Team Player

Starting as a Permanent position which will evolve into a rotational contract after a period of time.

(Rotation is 10 week on / 10 week off)

Start date: April '26

Itinerary: Mediterranean & Caribbean

Salary: € paid 12 months

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Yacht sizes:  30-39m or 40-49m
  • Yacht types:  sailing
  • Yacht uses:   private
  • Experience length:  min 5 years

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
