We are currently looking for a Non rotation Chief Engineer to join a:

  • 40m Private MY
  • Single season med cruising with plans to go further afield at a later date.
  • Standard leave
  • Salary DOE
  • Start date: March
  • Y3 equivalent license minimum

We are looking for an experienced Y3 Chief Engineer. We are looking for a very hands on Engineer, someone who is proactive, organised, and solution focused. Competence in managing shipyard periods, refits, and warranty issues.

Effective technical reporting and documentation, including defect logs and compliance records, and the ability to liaise confidently with shipyards, surveyors, contractors, and management.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
