About the yacht

It is the world's largest superyacht (yacht liner / private residence vessel) at 222m in length, with approximately 33,500 GT, featuring 39 fully customizable luxury private residences/apartments. It is a private residential motor yacht (not primarily charter) with world-class 6-star resort-level facilities. The project emphasizes an intimate global cruising community for owners and invited guests.

The project

We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a permanent position on this groundbreaking vessel, starting as soon as possible. The program includes an ever-changing global itinerary, circumnavigating the world with visits to remote destinations, polar regions, and premium cruising areas in effortless luxury and comfort.

Desired profile
English speaking is mandatory. At least a Y3 (or equivalent high-level) engineering certificate is needed, along with valid STCW and ENG1 medical certificate. Relevant visas for international cruising (e.g., B1/B2 or appropriate work/visa arrangements for global operations) preferred or already in hand is highly advantageous. Previous experience in yachting as a Chief Engineer on large superyachts (100m+ preferred) or strong senior engineer (e.g., 2nd Engineer ready to step up on ultra-large/complex vessels) is compulsory. Experience on residential vessels, expedition-style yachts, or high-end passenger vessels is a strong plus given the unique scale and residential nature.

Salary
Competitive salary commensurate with the vessel's unprecedented size and prestige (expected significantly higher than standard superyacht rates; details upon application). Generous leave allowance (e.g., 60+ days per year, subject to rotation and operational needs).

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience working on superyachts or equivalent large/complex vessels, with proven leadership in engineering departments on sizable motor yachts.

Language Requirements
Excellent command of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please ensure you have up-to-date STCW certification and obtain/renew if necessary. High-level engineering qualifications (Y3 or superior), valid ENG1, and any additional endorsements for large power vessels are essential.
