Rotational Head Chef 130m+

This is an exciting chance for an experienced Head Chef to join a high-profile 130m+ newly set up program. With a large team onboard, excellent budgets and galley space, and the opportunity to work for a UHNW family, this is not a role to miss.

  • Oversee all galley operations, culinary standards and guest experience to the highest standard. There is not much hand-holding in this role so we are looking for a very established Head Chef who is confident in their abilities.
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of seven onboard at any time.
  • Maintain consistency with the culinary direction for guest service and offer a well-rounded selection of dishes.
  • Start date: Early May.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as Head Chef on 100m+ yachts.
  • Proven experience leading teams of 5+ chefs.
  • Background in refined restaurants highly valued.
  • Confident across a wide range of cuisines and dietary requirements.
  • Professional, calm leader with a collaborative management style.
  • Experience on similar-sized yachts preferred.

What’s on offer:

  • Salary is DOE, 13,000 euros +/-
  • 2:2 rotation
  • Off-board training allowance to spend as well as continued onboard growth and training.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
