Rotational Sous Chef 70m+

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join a private 70m+ health and fitness orientated motor yacht. This well-run vessel offers strong crew longevity and a supportive, professional environment, suitable for a motivated chef with a passion for nutrition-focused cuisine.

The role:

  • Support guest food service while primarily preparing high-quality, nutrition-focused meals for 20+ crew
  • Confidently step into sole-chef duties during quieter periods
  • Assist with provisioning and daily galley operations
  • Maintain a calm, organised, and high-standard galley
  • Start date: likely March/April, allowing flexibility for notice periods

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum three years’ experience in high-end restaurants and/or similar-sized yachts
  • Experience on 75m+ vessels preferred
  • Confident working independently and managing a galley solo when required
  • Strong understanding of healthy, balanced crew food; nutritional qualifications or knowledge advantageous
  • Baking and pastry skills a bonus
  • Flexible, reliable, and a genuine team player

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
