Chef Position – 40m New Build Motor Yacht

We are looking for an exceptional, top-tier Chef to join a 40-metre new build motor yacht.

This is a very high-standard position. Expectations on board are equally high.
Requirements:

  • The Chef must be able to cook EVERYTHING — confidently and consistently
  • Excellent knowledge of international cuisine, fine dining, and comfort food
  • Strong expertise in fish-based cuisine and sushi is essential
  • Chef will be expected to organise a complete sushi setup on board (rice cooker, sushi mats, chopsticks, specialised knives, ingredients, etc.)
  • Ability to fully manage the galley, provisioning, menu planning, and sourcing
  • High attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to meet very demanding preferences
  • Nationality: no restrictions

Package:
Salary: €6,000 – €8,000 per month (depending on experience)
Start date: mid-March (approximate)
Cruising area: Mediterranean & Turkey

This role is suitable only for a highly experienced yacht or private household Chef who is confident working with very demanding principals and maintaining consistently high standards.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
