HEAD CHEF 60M MY

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join a busy dual-season private/charter 60m yacht currently in the Caribbean. This is a hands-on role suited to a confident leader who enjoys creating the best guest experience, whilst working closely with a Sous Chef.

The role:

  • Lead all culinary operations onboard, delivering exceptional food for the owners and charter guests.
  • Design creative, high-quality menus with a strong focus on presentation.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef - providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
  • Maintain smooth galley operations during a busy charter schedule.
  • Caribbean-based for the winter season.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as Head Chef on a 60m+ yacht.
  • Strong restaurant background preferred.
  • Confident Head Chef with a collaborative, mentoring approach.
  • Creative, organised, and calm under pressure.
  • Valid B1/B2 visa in hand (essential).

What’s on offer:

  • Salary: $8,500 pm.
  • 2:2 rotation.
  • Equal share of charter tips.
  • Busy season ahead, including an owner trip planned for February.
  • Start date: Ideally by the end of January.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
