HEAD CHEF 60M MY
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join a busy dual-season private/charter 60m yacht currently in the Caribbean. This is a hands-on role suited to a confident leader who enjoys creating the best guest experience, whilst working closely with a Sous Chef.
The role:
- Lead all culinary operations onboard, delivering exceptional food for the owners and charter guests.
- Design creative, high-quality menus with a strong focus on presentation.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef - providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
- Maintain smooth galley operations during a busy charter schedule.
- Caribbean-based for the winter season.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Head Chef on a 60m+ yacht.
- Strong restaurant background preferred.
- Confident Head Chef with a collaborative, mentoring approach.
- Creative, organised, and calm under pressure.
- Valid B1/B2 visa in hand (essential).
What’s on offer:
- Salary: $8,500 pm.
- 2:2 rotation.
- Equal share of charter tips.
- Busy season ahead, including an owner trip planned for February.
- Start date: Ideally by the end of January.
Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
