About this role

Crew Chef position available for a Charter 62m M/Y – Rotation 3:1

Ideally at least 12-18 months' previous experience either as Sole or Sous/Crew chef on 50m+ yachts in addition to several years' experience in restaurants. You will be working closely with the Head Chef and will be involved in guest food.

Location: Spain / Caribbean
Package: Salary DOE. €. 90 days leave per year

Skills and Attributes Required:

  • Menu planning and cooking for crew, 3 meals per day.
  • Diverse with international cuisines/menu planning.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Previous experience with food allergies and dietary restrictions.
  • Staying on board for security watches every 4 days on average.
  • Provisioning the yacht using local supermarkets; transportation provided by the ship.
  • Responsible for cleaning of galley, freezers, main refrigerator and dry storage following a specific cleaning schedule.
  • Professional presentation.

Qualifications Required:

  • STCW with PDSD
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate
  • Food Safety and Hygiene L2
  • Ships Cook Certificate (Preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
