Deckhand/Motorman, Private 47m Yacht

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Deckhand/Motorman to join a private 47-meter motor yacht. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on crew member looking to build experience on a professionally run vessel with a supportive team and respectful environment.

The yacht is based in Athens, Greece and sailing is mostly around the Greek islands.

Permanent contract with paid leave is preferred.

Deck Duties:

• Assist with all exterior maintenance (washing, polishing, varnishing)
• Support docking, undocking, anchoring, and tender operations
• Assist with guest activities and water sports when required
• Maintain deck equipment and safety gear
• Stand watch as required

Engineering Duties:

• Assist the Chief Engineer with daily engine room checks
• Support basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance
• Help maintain logs and report issues promptly
• Assist with preventative maintenance schedules

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Deckhand and/or Motorman on yachts (ideally 40m+)
• Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-player mindset
• Ability to follow procedures and work safely at all times
