Rotational Japanese Chef - Private 100m+ MY• Start: 19th May 2026
• Location: Middle East / Europe
• Package: 176 days
Experience and attributes required:
• The desired candidate should have an extensive background in Japanese cuisine, including aspects such as sushi, sashimi and hot Japanese preparations.
• Preference for experience within Japan and internationally.
• No vessel experience required, a consideration for a land-based chef.
• Happy to work under guidance and replicate dishes already in place for guests and assist where else required for crew preparations and other guest menus.
Qualifications required:
• Accredited culinary training course
• PDSD
• Crowd Management
• STCW updated
• Seafarer Medical Certificate
• Seaman Discharge Book
Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
