SOUS CHEF 60M MY

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join a busy dual season private/busy charter motor yacht.

Requirements:

  • Your role will mainly focus on cooking for the team onboard as well as assisting the Head Chef with guest food.
  • You will have at least a season's experience on a similar sized vessel and ideally be able to bake - that said this is a skill the Head Chef is happy to mentor you in so you do not need to be a trained pastry chef.
  • You will be responsible for keeping the healthy and active crew well fed; they are a diverse and fun bunch.
  • You MUST have your B1/B2 in hand; please do not apply if you do not already hold it.

Package/Details:

  • Joining in January but this could be subject to change.
  • The season started in November with charters already booked for the season and beginning to happen.
  • Equal share of tips.
  • $6,000 per month -/+ DOE.
  • 40 days leave allowance.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
