Rotational Sous Chef 90m

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join a high-profile charter vessel. This is a unique opportunity for a talented chef with a strong culinary background and a good eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Head Chef on guest food and work alongside the Third Chef to ensure efficient crew food selection and galley operation.
  • Handle galley administration and organisational duties as required.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, positive galley environment within an experienced team.
  • Operate within a busy charter programme, delivering consistent high-quality food service for high-profile charters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years cooking experience in high-end restaurants or on similarly sized yachts.
  • Previous experience on 80m+ vessels preferred to understand dynamics and expectations of larger yachts.
  • Baking and pastry skills are essential; desserts are a key element of the role.
  • Strong work ethic, passion for varied cuisines, and commitment to excellence.
  • Must be a team player and flexible in the galley; the galley team consists of three members.
  • Must hold a B1/B2 visa.

Package:

  • Leave: 2:2 rotation
  • Salary: $6,000+ DOE
  • Start date: Early January onwards

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
