Private Chef – Abu Dhabi

We are working exclusively with a UHNW client in Abu Dhabi to assist them in hiring a full-time private chef. The Principal lives alone, so you will predominantly just be cooking for him, plus any guests as required.

You will be responsible for planning and preparing high-quality meals daily, catering to the specific dietary requirements and preferences of the Principal. The role also involves maintaining the kitchen area and managing inventory.

You will be joining a household team of approximately. 12 of team members, who you will be required to cater for also. This is a live-in position with your own bedroom and bathroom.

You may be required to travel with the Principal at times throughout the year; therefore, EU passport holders are preferred for ease of travel within Europe.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the Principal, catering to his preferences and dietary needs.
• Ensure the staff are fed appropriately daily
• Source high-quality ingredients, including organic and specialty items
• Create seasonal and diverse menus
• Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
• Manage kitchen inventory, including stock rotation and waste reduction
• Prepare meals for formal dining and special occasions as required
• Ensure discretion and confidentiality in all culinary matters
• Maintain and care for kitchen appliances and tools
• Manage food budgets and provide cost-effective sourcing
• Travel with the Principal when required

Ideal Candidate

• EU passport holder is advantageous but not mandatory
• Culinary expertise in preparing a variety of international cuisines
• Menu planning and meal preparation skills
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special dietary needs
• Experience working in high-end households or luxury hospitality settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Working schedule: 6 days a week
• Visa and health insurance provided

• Live in – own bedroom provided
• Salary: 15,000 AED – 30,000 AED net per month (depending on experience and whether you can travel easily through Europe)
