About the yacht

The yacht is a private 40m Motor Yacht based in the south of France. EU Flag. 6 crew members on board. 

The project

We are looking for a first mate/engineer starting as soon as possible for a permanent contract. 

It will mainly be cruising around the south of France. Candidates need to have accomodation in the South of France. 

You will be in charge of the deck department, paper work and engine works in collaboration with the captain.

Desired Profile

  • French speaking is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is compulsory.
  • Master 200 certificate is needed. 
  • Engineer certificate is a plus (AEC1 & 2 or 750kw) as you will be part of some engineering work on board.
  • We are looking for someone dynamic and handy. 

Salary : 4000€ net per month.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the following languages is required: English, French

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
