Rotational Sous Chef position aboard Private 90 M/Y
This is a busy, fast paced, privately operated Superyacht, seeking a Sous Chef to join their dynamic Galley team!
Start Date: November, 2025
Itinerary: Mediterranean – then crossing to the Caribbean late Nov
Package: Competitive Salary paid in Euros – 2:2 rotation
Experience and Attributes Required:
- Minimum of 1 season on board 80m+ Yachts, Cruise or River Ships in similar role
- Assisting with food preparation with Guest food – new ideas are always welcomed
- Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and a positive approach
- Team player – with the ability to guide and assist the Crew Chef when required
- Attention to detail
- Ability work under pressure and remain calm and courteous at all times
- Fluent English both written and verbal
Qualifications Required:
- STCW (all up-dated)
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties Certificate
- Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Minimum 6 months’ validity)
- Seaman’s Discharge Book
- Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2
- Ship’s Cook Certificate (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
