Chalet Chef – St Anton

Silver Swan is currently seeking a talented and passionate Private Chalet Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences in our returning client luxury ski chalets. You will create well-balanced, fine-dining menus while maintaining an efficient, clean, and cost-effective kitchen. This is an opportunity to work in a beautiful alpine setting, delighting guests with creative cuisine and a memorable “wow” factor.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Service: Prepare and serve breakfast, afternoon tea, and multi-course evening dinners of fine-dining quality.
• Menu Creativity: Design balanced, exciting menus with attention to dietary requirements and allergies.
• Stock & Budget Management: Order and manage food supplies, control stock levels, and minimize waste while adhering to budget and HACCP standards.
• Guest Interaction: Liaise with guests to accommodate preferences and ensure an inviting chalet atmosphere.
• Kitchen Operations: Maintain immaculate hygiene, complete financial and non-financial paperwork, and uphold company standards.
• Collaboration: In larger chalets, work with a kitchen assistant; operate independently in smaller chalets.

Ideal Candidate: 

• EU passport/residency/work permit (or appropriate visa).
• Strong spoken English; a full clean driving license is advantageous.
• Recognized qualification in professional cookery or equivalent high-end kitchen training.
• Proven experience in fine-dining environments such as luxury restaurants, private households, or superyachts.
• Knowledge of diverse dietary needs and allergy management.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a seasonal alpine setting.

Package:

Salary: 

• Large Chalet (20–30 guests): €2,300 – €2,500 Net per Month + Tips
• Small Chalet (6–12 guests): €1,900 – €2,100 Net per Month + Tips
