About this role

Engineer – Private 30m+ Eco Power Catamaran
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking and sustainably designed power catamaran that offers near-silent cruising and zero emissions. The yacht is a brand-new build featuring custom-engineered electric propulsion, an advanced solar skin, and ultra-light battery systems. The program is run by a great owner with a solid, permanent crew of 5. The team values long-term commitment, positive energy, and team spirit.

Start date: September 2025
Itinerary: Mediterranean
Package: Salary paid in Euros, leave according to flag – Rotation under consideration.

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Engineer on similar-sized yachts
• Direct experience with electric propulsion systems (battery and solar integration)
• Strong understanding of energy management and power systems
• Hands-on approach and solution-oriented mindset
• Commitment to sustainable technology and collaborative team spirit

Qualifications required:
• STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• AEC 2 minimum (depending on flag)
• Seamans’ Discharge Book (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
