Job duties
Responsibilities of the Domestic Couple for private household in Belgravia, London, include:

• Housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, ironing, and maintaining the general upkeep of the residence
• Front of house duties, ensuring the home is always ready for guests
• Maintenance duties, including basic repairs and overseeing contractors when needed
• Driving the Principal and family members to appointments and engagements as required
• Providing 24/7 assistance the Principal is in residence (approximately 4 months of the year)
• Managing household inventory, including stocktaking and purchasing necessary items
• Ensuring smooth running of the household when the Principal is not in residence, including self-motivation and independence during quieter months
• Maintaining a respectful and discreet relationship with the Principal and her family

Candidates must be/have:

• Highly experienced, mature and reliable with a positive and flexible attitude
• Experience within a formal household, with a strong background in housekeeping, maintenance, and front-of-house duties
• A team-oriented mindset, willing to work collaboratively with their partner in a dynamic environment
• The ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills, with an understanding of the need for discretion, loyalty, and professionalism
• A clean, valid driving licence
• Experience working with older or less mobile employers (desirable)

Accommodation
A garden flat is provided in the main house.

No dependants.

Hours
Full-time, 24/7 when the Principal is in residence (approx. 4 months per year).

Flexible hours during non-residence periods, with time for personal activities.

£65,000 (combined).
