Villa Couple – Portofino

Silver Swan is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Domestic Couple to join a long-standing household team at a stunning private villa located on the Mountain of Portofino. The villa boasts 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a swimming pool, a spa, a gym, and extensive landscaped gardens with breathtaking sea views.

This is a live-in role with a flexible contract: either a 3-month temporary position (starting immediately) or a year-round permanent opportunity.

Please Note: Candidates must hold an EU passport/Right to work in Italy prior to applying as, unfortunately, we do not offer visa sponsorship. If you do not hold an EU passport/Right to work in Italy upon applying, your application will NOT be considered. 

Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping: Daily cleaning, laundry, ironing, maintaining overall household cleanliness.
• Cooking & Service: Preparing healthy Mediterranean meals (pasta, fish, meat, and vegetables) and serving when required.
• Property Maintenance: General upkeep of the villa and assisting the resident gardener with basic garden duties.
• Driving: Running errands, grocery shopping, airport/train station pick-ups (both candidates with driving licences preferred).

Ideal Candidate: 

• Must hold an EU passport/Right to work in Italy
• Fluent in English and Italian (at least one of the couple)
• Experience working together as a domestic couple in a private household
• One partner should be a confident cook with knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine
• Hands-on, proactive, and flexible approach to duties
• Respectful, discreet, and trustworthy

Package:

• Salary: €6,000 net per month (combined)
• Accommodation: Private 1-bedroom apartment with kitchen and full amenities, all utilities included
• Opportunity: Join a household with a history of long-term staff – the previous couple stayed for 15 years
• Contract: 3-month temporary who can go to all year round position if everyone is happy 
• Start Date: ASAP
