Shipyard 3rd Engineer – Private 100m+ M/Y

The yacht will be in the yard to undergo winter maintenance and is looking for a temporary 3rd engineer to reinforce the large existing team during this busy period.

Start date: 1st October – 6th of February

Itinerary: Europe

Package: Salary in Euros. Daily rate inclusive of leave

Experience and attributes required:

• Proven record of refit experience on large yachts/cruise ships
• Proficiency in the maintenance of tenders/water toys
• Proficiency in the maintenance of HVAC equipment
• Proficiency in the maintenance of potable water production/distribution system equipment
• Proficiency in the maintenance of fuel oil purifiers and pumps
• Understanding of electrical systems and basic fault finding
• Hands-on in general engineering tasks
• Familiar with the work reporting and planned maintenance systems
• Preferred cruise ship background

Qualifications required:

• EOOW unlimited – III/1
• STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months
• Seaman’s Discharge Book
