Silver Swan is currently seeking a Temporary Nanny to look after our client's 7 year old daughter in Rome and Tuscany between the 23rd of June and the 8th of July 2025. The family is ideally looking for someone they can call back for summer and Christmas holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a warm and welcoming family while enjoying a structured yet flexible holiday nanny role. Please Note: Candidates must hold an EU passport prior to applying as, unfortunately, we do not offer visa sponsorship. If you do not hold an EU passport upon applying, your application will NOT be considered. 

Responsibilities:

  • Full-day care of the child, from morning preparations to evening routines
  • Engaging in age-appropriate activities and play
  • Ensuring the child’s safety and well-being throughout the day
  • Assisting with mealtime and light tidying related to the child
  • Coordinating with the current Nanny, who manages everyday activities

Ideal Candidate: 

  • Must hold an EU passport
  • Previous experience as a Nanny or childcare professional
  • Engaging, patient, and adaptable to a dynamic holiday schedule
  • Comfortable working in a team with the family’s existing Nanny
  • Open to short-term roles with the possibility of recurring employment

Package:

  • Salary: €1,000 – €1,500 net per week (negotiable depending on experience)
  • Accommodation: A completely independent apartment on the second floor if the property
  • Working Hours: Full-day schedule, details to be discussed at the interview once the holiday itinerary is confirmed

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
