Overview

A warm, discreet, and experienced Housekeeper is sought to support a busy family in Marbella, Spain. This is a long-term opportunity to join a calm and respectful household, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order, along with occasional support for a six-year-old girl. The youngest child (1 year) has a full-time nanny, so only occasional support is required.

The family values structure, discretion, and professionalism, and would ideally welcome someone who brings positive energy, excellent housekeeping skills, and the flexibility for occasional travel. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Start date: ASAP.

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Live-in or Live-out Housekeeper/Nanny in Marbella:

Housekeeping:
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of all rooms to a 5-star standard
• Laundry care (including delicates), ironing, and wardrobe management
• Bed-making and linen care
• Monitoring and replenishing household supplies
• Occasional errands (e.g., dry cleaning, light grocery pick-up)
• Deep cleaning and seasonal organisation
• Proactive reporting of maintenance needs
• Maintaining a quiet, composed, and professional presence in the home
• Occasional simple family-style cooking

Child Support:
• Occasional babysitting and school pick-up
• Offering warm, calm companionship — playing, reading, and interacting with the child when needed
• Supervising routines and ensuring a stable, structured environment
• Staying overnight with the child when parents travel
• Travel support during family holidays (including up to 2-month stays abroad)
• Helping maintain organisation of belongings and activities during travel

Candidates must be / have:

• A minimum of five years’ experience in a high-end private household
• A fluent Spanish and English speaker
• Experienced in supporting school-aged children
• Calm, discreet, emotionally intelligent, independent and highly organised
• Naturally warm, dependable, and child-focused
• Happy to travel and provide occasional overnight care
• Non-smoker
• Full driving licence

Hours
Full-time hours, with flexibility around family needs.
Occasional travel and overnight stays required.

Accommodation
If live-in, a private ensuite bedroom will be provided in the main house.
