Chief Mate Required – 80M+ World-Cruising motor yacht

We are seeking an experienced Chief Officer for an 80M+ private vessel currently engaged in a world-cruising itinerary.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A commercial maritime background

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments

  • Experience in managing the deck team, including overseeing deck maintenance and operations

  • Confidence in delegating responsibilities, mentoring junior crew, and fostering a high-performance team environment

  • Strong competency in handling various tenders and crane operations

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Navigation, Safety, and Security protocols in line with the vessel’s Safety Management System (SMS) 

  • A proactive approach to maximizing the vessel’s capabilities and performance working closely with the captain
