About this role

Captain – Private 30m S/Y
We are recruiting a Seasonal Captain for a 30m private sailing yacht. The ideal candidate is a skilled sailor currently based in Europe, who enjoys running a yacht with the support of a management company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident skipper with excellent boat handling skills and solid knowledge of the Mediterranean.

Start date: ASAP until 30th September
Itinerary: Mediterranean
Package: Salary paid in Euros, 38 days’ pay leave

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Captain on board 30m+ sailing yachts
• Excellent boat handling and navigational skills
• Strong communication, and team management.
• Confident working under management and following instructions
• Good knowledge of the Mediterranean cruising grounds

Qualifications required:
• Minimum Master 200GT
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Seaman’s Discharge Book
• Non-smoker, no visible tattoos

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
