Captain (Junior) 70’ Private MY – Sydney based

Position Snapshot
• Sydney based (all year round)
• 3 X day trips / month (average)
• Multiple vessel program

A high-profile family is on the search for a captain looking for their 1st or 2nd permanent command.
The yacht is largely used for day trips (no overnighters) with the family in both Sydney harbour and Pittwater regions

The owner has multiple vessels ranging from 10m-39m (Sydney based) and the successful candidate will also offer support to the other programs when the 70’ is not in use.

As the vessels are based in Sydney, year-round the captain should have their own accommodation ashore in Sydney

The position is open to both first drive captains and captains with experience.

The captain will also be given the option to assist in coastal / interstate deliveries on the larger vessels

The Ideal Candidate
• Superyacht experience
• Drive time on large tenders or dayboats
• Knowledge of Sydney harbour & Pittwater
• High level of professionalism
• Versatile allrounder, from washdowns to basic engineering
• Master 5 or master 200gt (yachtmaster)
• Working rights for Australia
• Own accommodation ashore in Sydney

Salary: Depending on the captains experience (guide on application)
