Private Housekeeper x 5 – London/Surrey

Silver Swan is currently seeking a team of summer housekeepers for a longstanding client's family visit to the UK. The client maintains two main properties in London & Surrey, so housekeeper candidates with flexibility to work between both locations are highly desirable. Both locations are very close to a train station so easy to travel to using public transport. This is an excellent opportunity to join a wonderful team, as we have successfully placed several staff members, including the current house manager. Approximately 5 housekeepers are needed to support the households during the family's visit, scheduled from April/May until September. Booking housekeepers in advance will ensure a smooth transition upon the family's arrival. This summer position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of prestigious households in London and Surrey whilst gaining experience working in UHNW environments. YACHT STEWARDESS EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.  

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning, laundry, and ironing tasks to maintain the residences' cleanliness and tidiness
• Collaborating effectively within a team of housekeepers to ensure efficient operations
• Reporting any issues, repairs, or stock shortages promptly to the house manager for resolution
• Performing detailed dusting and polishing of treated surfaces, including marble and delicate materials

Ideal Candidate:

• Candidates MUST have the right to live and work in the UK. Sponsorship is not provided.
• You must have your own accommodation 
• Surrey location is Virginia Water – 40 mins train from Waterloo. London location is Mayfair. 
• Must have full availability between April/May – October  
• Flexibility to work between London & Surrey is a bonus
• You must be able to work a 6-day week

Package:

• Start Date: April/May – October  
• Salary: £20 – £25 per hour
• Temporary Summer Contract
• Working Schedule: 6 days per week, 9 hours per day, working in rotation with other housekeepers. Weekend cover will be required as needed.
