Silver Swan is currently seeking a Head Manny to join a fully staffed, high-profile household in Kuwait, working with four energetic children aged 10, 9, 8, and 6. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced, formally trained childcare professional with leadership skills, emotional maturity, and cultural awareness.

You’ll play a pivotal role in improving structure, behaviour, and overall wellbeing of the children, while also mentoring and managing two live-in nannies—one of whom has been with the family for 7 years and is keen to grow under the guidance of a professional Head Manny.

Please Note: Candidates must hold an EU/UK passport prior to applying as, unfortunately, we do not offer visa sponsorship. If you do not hold an EU/UK passport upon applying, your application will NOT be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the House Manager to ensure children's needs are prioritised and integrated with household operations
  • Helping maintain a calm, structured environment in the children's areas—bedrooms, playrooms, study zones
  • Communicating effectively with drivers, chefs, tutors, and other household staff to organise children’s daily schedules
  • Ensuring that after-school activities, tutoring, and appointments are well-managed and properly coordinated
  • Occasionally assisting in vetting and training new junior childcare staff as the family expands the team
  • Supporting the estate’s culture of professional development and internal training, especially for junior nannies

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must hold an EU/UK passport
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional childcare experience, including in a leadership or head manny capacity
  • Formal childcare qualification is essential
  • A calm, firm but caring approach to behaviour management
  • Naturally organised, efficient, and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative
  • Confident working in multi-staffed, high-profile households
  • Experience supporting school-aged children and an ability to assist with schoolwork in creative, engaging ways
  • Culturally aware, ideally with prior experience in the Middle East or with similar family dynamics
  • A positive role model who promotes good manners, responsibility, and emotional development
  • Discreet, respectful of privacy, and highly professional
  • First Aid trained

Package:

  • Start Date: September 2025 (with flexibility to meet the family in Europe during the summer)
  • Working Schedule: 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday), approx. 8 hours/day
  • Salary: €7,000 per month + (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Holidays: 1 full month per year
  • Flight allowance: 1 return flight annually
  • Accommodation: Live-in, private bedroom within the estate
  • Long-term opportunity in a highly respectful, supportive household environment
