This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced, formally trained childcare professional with leadership skills, emotional maturity, and cultural awareness.
You’ll play a pivotal role in improving structure, behaviour, and overall wellbeing of the children, while also mentoring and managing two live-in nannies—one of whom has been with the family for 7 years and is keen to grow under the guidance of a professional Head Manny.

- Liaising with the House Manager to ensure children's needs are prioritised and integrated with household operations
- Helping maintain a calm, structured environment in the children's areas—bedrooms, playrooms, study zones
- Communicating effectively with drivers, chefs, tutors, and other household staff to organise children’s daily schedules
- Ensuring that after-school activities, tutoring, and appointments are well-managed and properly coordinated
- Occasionally assisting in vetting and training new junior childcare staff as the family expands the team
- Supporting the estate’s culture of professional development and internal training, especially for junior nannies
Ideal Candidate:
- Must hold an EU/UK passport
- Minimum 5+ years of professional childcare experience, including in a leadership or head manny capacity
- Formal childcare qualification is essential
- A calm, firm but caring approach to behaviour management
- Naturally organised, efficient, and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative
- Confident working in multi-staffed, high-profile households
- Experience supporting school-aged children and an ability to assist with schoolwork in creative, engaging ways
- Culturally aware, ideally with prior experience in the Middle East or with similar family dynamics
- A positive role model who promotes good manners, responsibility, and emotional development
- Discreet, respectful of privacy, and highly professional
- First Aid trained
Package:
- Start Date: September 2025 (with flexibility to meet the family in Europe during the summer)
- Working Schedule: 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday), approx. 8 hours/day
- Salary: €7,000 per month + (dependent on experience and qualifications)
- Holidays: 1 full month per year
- Flight allowance: 1 return flight annually
