We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic 2nd Engineer to join our team on a large 100m+ yacht.

Duties will include:

  • Reporting to Chief Engineer, and taking a watch as EOOW both at sea and in port.
  • Carrying out rounds, monitoring operating parameters of plant and equipment, completing log sheets.
  • Undertaking planned and unplanned maintenance on auxilliary equipment and systems.
  • Carrying out PMS rouitines, updating stock levels and writing comprehensive service reports.

Candidates must have:

  • EOOW III/2 Unlimited licence
  • STWC certificates
  • ENG1

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience on large yachts, cruise ships and/or complex commercial vessels.
  • Good IT knowlage.
  • A positive and pro-active mindset and good team player.

Package:

2.5/2.5 rotation

Location: Europe

Salary : DOE

Start: 1st August

 

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Visa Requirements:

Schengen visa is required for this role.
