3rd officer

100+ M super yacht is hiring a 3rd officer to join the team. The 3rd Officer is responsible for the maintenance, operation and presentation of the yacht’s tender marina and all equipment therein.

Additionally, the 3rd Officer integrates with the deck officers to maintain a safe bridge watch. The 3rd Officer will furthermore be required to participate with various job tasks on deck when needed to meet the operational demands of the yacht. The 3rd Officer shares supervisory responsibility with the Chief Engineer for the performance of the yacht’s machinist / small craft maintainer. Additionally, the Bosun may assign deck crew to the marina when this occurs the 3rd officer is responsible for their performance.

The position requires highly motivated, hands on professional whose energy, motivation and communication skills will ensure distinctive service is provided to owners and guests.

Required

• Minimum 3 years maritime experience including a minimum of 18 months sea time 1-2 years previous Deckhand experience preferred.
• Proficiency in maneuvering and handling of both Jet and propeller driven, single and twin engine water craft
• Jet Ski/Wave Runner experience.

Preferred

• Knowledge of the Awlgrip paint system.
• Experience in helicopter operations
• Previous private yachting experience

Education/experience/certifications

• OOW-Unlimited (STCW II/1)
• Valid ENG1
• Valid Passport with US visa (B1/B2)
