Virginia Water – Domestic Couple for International Family M - F Own cottage - £70-£80K neg

An international family with 3 children aged 9,7 & 5 are looking for an enthusiastic and multi-talented all rounder couple. This role would suit a yacht, chalet or villa couple who are used to excellent service and presentation. The family live in a 5 bedroom well presented house and also have a dog (pointer) so you will need to be pet and child friendly. The family will be looking for a weekend nanny and housekeeper and also have a gardener. The client travels during all school holidays and the house will be empty during these times.

Job Description

The role will be busy and varied in the week but will involve:

• Daily Housekeeper and maintenance of the house to a high standard.
• Getting the children up ready for school and breakfast
• School runs morning and evening
• One of you will need to prepare daily meals for the family (fresh and healthy)
• Setting table, serving, clearing for mainly breakfast and dinner.
• Shopping and errands for the family
• Dealing with recycling and trash, deliveries and contractors
• Airport and station runs.
• Anything else needed to keep the house running smoothly.
• Pet care including dog walking, vet runs, feeding and grooming
• Travelling with the family as required.

Candidate Requirements

It is essential that you are used to working at a high level preferably from a boat, villa or chalet background and understand about service. You will have good checkable references and at least one of you will have to be a driver. One of the clients speaks Portuguese so a Portuguese speaker would be a bonus but not a necessity. PLEASE NOTE TO APPLY FOR THIS JOB YOU MUST HAVE  A BRITISH PASSPORT, SETTLED STATUS OR RIGHT TO WORK IN UK

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary

• 5 days during school term with 2 days of during the week (Christmas/Easter and Summer holidays
• Days off Monday – Friday when client travels (Christmas/Easter and Summer Holidays)
• Contracted hours will be 60-hour week with flexibility over start and finish times earlier during school term time and flexibility over breaks to accommodate the serving of dinner (circa twice a week)
• Accommodation is a 2 bedroom cottage – not suitable for pets or dependents but all bills paid.
• Starts as soon as possible but will wait for the right couple if needed.
• £70-£80K negotiable dependent of experience and skill set.
