Crew Mess Assistant

We are currently looking for a Crew Mess Assistant for a 100m+ private yacht. 

Must have experience in housekeeping either onboard a 50m+ yachts or cruise ships. 

Must have valid STCW's, food & hygiene level 2 and a clean international driving license. 

Responsilbities: 

Reports to the Head Housekeeper. Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the crew mess to a very high standard at all times.
Reports to the Head Chef when dairy, meats and cheeses are running low so the Head Chef can adequately stock (crew mess items only).
Mise En Place for lunch and dinner while completing daily crew mess duties.
Assisting with the Mise En Place, cleanliness and packing away after mealtimes for the Security guards in the security mess when guests are on-board.
Assisting guests during emergency procedures.
Responsible for cleaning the owner’s and public spaces to the highest standards.
A team of 20 in Housekeeping – 1 Second Housekeeper, 12 Housekeepers, 3 Spa therapist, and 4 Laundrymen.

Contract details: 

Joining 17th July

Salary: €2500 per month 

5 months on / 1 month off (depending on yachts schedule) 

90 day trial period where leave cannot be taken.
