Overview

Our client, a family residing between France and Switzerland, is in search of a highly skilled Domestic Couple to join their private household. This unique opportunity spans two stunning residences: one situated in the vibrant city of Zurich, Switzerland, and the other nestled in the charming coastal town of Grimaud, France. The ideal candidates will possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to seamlessly manage and maintain the daily operations of both households.

Job duties
Responsibilities of the Domestic Couple in France and Switzerland include:

Housekeeper position:

House cleaning
Laundry
Ironing
VIP wardrobe care
Knowledge of the Laurastar steam generator
Care of all types of surfaces
Familiarity with modern household appliances and cleaning products
Dog care (we have two German Shepherds)
Driver / Maintenance position:

Family driver with fluent knowledge of typical navigation systems and
Google Maps
Car cleaning
House maintenance and minor repairs
Supervision of technicians and service providers
Grocery shopping
Maintenance of the garden and surrounding area
Dog care

Candidates must be/have:

• European documents/work permit
• Driving licence for the EU/Switzerland
• Fluent English or Russian speaking (German or French would be a plus)
• Happy to work with dogs, as two black German Shepherds are very much part of the household

Accommodation
Switzerland: You may live in a flat with two separate bedrooms, one of which is occupied by another Domestic Couple working at the villa. The flat is minimally furnished but has a fully equipped kitchen.

Apartment in Switzerland has one bathroom and one kitchen (shared with another couple if both couples are in residence). Washing machines are shared and located on the ground floor of the building. The flat is a 15- minute walk from the villa, and a bicycle can be provided.

France: A small studio will be provided during your stay, which includes cooking facilities, a washing machine, furniture, and internet access.

Hours
Switzerland: You will work 5 days a week, with 2 days off determined by the employer. The working day is 8 hours, and flexible to the Principal’s schedule. Possible overtime will be compensated with additional rest time or otherwise as agreed with the employer

France: You will work 6 days a week from June to the end of September. Compensation for the additional workdays will be discussed separately, potentially resulting in fewer working days in Switzerland.

Salary
4,000 to 5,500 Swiss Franc per person.
